Hi-ya!
Finally! Yezzzz!!
That’s right, pictures of Tricia’s 70’s inspired, disco-licious baby shower! Here we are snuggling it up before operation sleepless nights and never-ending laundry take over. Delivery of the package is set for Jan. 28th. I. can’t. wait.
But back to the partay. Who doesn’t love a disco ball? Like, no one ever, in the history of the world.
Each setting had a champagne flute, silver picture frame with a message and baby photo (if the guest sent me one), silverware, coaster, bowl and a linen napkin folded into a rose. And of course disco balls! Yes, we did give everyone a fork but for some reason we forgot one in this photo! But were we already sipping champagne?? Of course we were!! Priorities people.
Pink champagne? Check! Fun cocktails? Check! Something for baby mama to drink? Double check!!
The drink hit of the event? The El Salvadorian Black Russian with a hit of coffee! My friend is El Salvadorian (obv’s) and her hubby is Nigerian and Russian … Can I get an “Ooohhhhh?” So I made a hot cocoa with cinnamon and Kahlua and put them into silver thermos like they have at a diner. But with a hit of coffee the drink was seriously drool worthy. Yum-mmy.
My girlfriend, Bethanie, was incredible! She brought all the desserts which looked too cute to eat! Here she is striking a groovy pose!
Want to get your guests involved? Here we set up a quilting station so each special person could write a message or draw something that will soon become a baby blanket.
Overall, I’d say it was a very fun time had by all! I prayed to the weather gods, and was blessed with sunshine throughout the outdoor party in December. Yes, I know I am a lucky girl… but also one with a few outdoor heaters as back-ups. Still, it was perfect outside and that made it sooooo much nicer.
Most importantly though, I believe Tricia had a great time and she certainly made out with major baby loot! Oh, and some of the freaking cutest clothes ever!!
Hope ya enjoyed!!
