Seriously. It’s Thursday?!
I have about 10 projects mid-stream and I can’t seem to make any traction to finish. Aye. Hopefully next week I’ll be able to show you something cool. Cool?
But for today, I wanted to share a few fun things that I’ve been hoarding for Savannah’s room. Remember that one? She’s my 10 year old cousin and a super cutie, diva, athletic homegirl… all around a pretty amazing preteen. I know it’s been awhile since I’ve posted anything about this room, but trust me, I’ve been diligently working on getting things ready for a massive install next week, perhaps?! So exciting!!
Anyhoo, without further ado… my fun thrift shopping has yielded some sweet steals!
These are brass butterflies! I’m so crazy about it!
These are 3 curtain tie backs and I bought all 3 just in case I wanted an extra… maybe in the closet as a coat hanger?? And they are solid!! Like, could they be cuter?
Oh, I have big plans for these stools… I’m foreseeing A LOT of gossip going on around these.
Okay, so these are birds made of, what else?, bird feathers!! They are too much!
A midcentury inspired side table! Perfect as a book shelf in a small room!! Yes please.
And a few of my finds from my $15 thrifting day may also find their way over there… namely those flower needlepoint pictures. Well, that’s if Savannah is as obsessed with them as I am!!
All these fun art pieces will make their way into one fabulous gallery wall. At least, that’s the plan.
And red velvet is getting a makeover, too!! Here she is before Tim Gunn has perked up her confidence. I’m gonna teen-ify her.
Lots to do, but I think it’s going to be tweenie-licious!!
Happy Creating! Jessica
That is amazing how you keep so busy and having fun while creating can’t wait to see the final product I ma sure is going to be great!!
