You heard me.

We all hear that it’s what’s inside that counts, but what about when your outside is flaky, dated and in need of some TLC?

This is certainly the case with our home.  Well, she ain’t gonna be Mrs. Personality for much longer!!

Here you can see the shutters removed for painting/patching.

Sprinklers are getting adjusted too… we had one not so nice 6×3 area of rotten siding.  Coulda been worse, I guess… it’s been 10+ years, at least!

Lesson learned!  Do not leave your trash cans right in front of the garage!!  They chip it up.

But today it’s looking more like

Infinitely better if you ask me!!

I had them remove the window details and I LOVE it!

As for paint colors, well what do you think?  I’m going for a grayish-brown for walls, white for the trim and black for the shutters and front door.

They all look so similar and then you put them on the house and it’s like, “Whoa! They’re so different!”

I’m so excited about all the changes!!

It’s going to be like living in a whole new house.
